Just back from a fantastic couple of days with Oli down in Cornwall. Day one in the quarry working on breathing techniques and diving skills (never thought I'd be able to breath hold for 3 minutes), followed by a bountiful day on the south Cornish coast. Highly recommended.Posted on Google![]()

Thank you Oli for all your time and guidance on the 2 day spearfishing course. I had an amazing time , learnt so much , and came back with an understanding of the skill required and what to practice. This is an excellent course for anyone who’s interested in the art , I’d say it definitely helps if you have some prior snorkelling experience or diving experience as being comfortable in the water will allow you to progress quicker. The quarry facilities are fantastic and Oli really gave some thought on where to go to give us some sucesss on day 2 in open water. Thank you JamesPosted on Google![]()

Join Delphy Pool for three unforgettable days connecting with the underwater world through marine foraging and sustainable ocean practices.
Created by National Spearfishing Champion Matt Hill and AIDA Master Freediving & Spearfishing Instructor Oliver Cacioppo, this course combines internationally recognised freediving qualifications with in-depth local ocean marine foraging knowledge and practical ocean experience.
Across the three days, you’ll complete your AIDA 1 & AIDA 2 Freediving Certifications while learning how to identify, harvest and interact with marine life in the Cornish Ocean responsibly. The course places strong emphasis on breath-hold technique, dive planning, safety, and ethical foraging practices, giving you the skills to explore the underwater world with confidence and respect.
Time in the sea allows you to put theory into practice, developing calm, controlled dives and a deeper understanding of Cornwall’s marine environment.
Throughout the course, you’ll enjoy full access to Delphy Pool’s premium facilities, including hot showers, a dedicated classroom space and our wood-fired hot tub – the perfect place to unwind and reflect after a day in the water.
